Insiders: Galaxy Digital hires Point72's Anthony Paquette as CFO

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, sources say that Galaxy Digital has hired Point72 CFO Anthony Paquette as its Chief Financial Officer. Anthony Paquette will transition to a senior advisory role at Galaxy starting in January, as the appointment has not yet been made public.

Paquette has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Steven Cohen's asset management firm Point72 for over four years. Prior to that, he was the head of a business unit at fintech company SoFi and a managing director at JPMorgan Chase. Galaxy is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and has been seeking to go public in the United States for years.
