ChainCatcher 消息，据 CoinDesk 報導，加拿大政府提出《強大自由選舉法》（法案 C-25），擬禁止以加密貨幣、匯票及預付卡形式向政黨及候選人進行政治捐款，理由是此類資產具有偽匿名性，難以核實捐款人身份，存在選舉誠信風險。該法案目前處於下議院一讀階段。此前，英國也已宣布暫停接受加密貨幣政治捐款。
