ChainCatcher 消息，据美国哥伦比亚广播公司（CBS）报道，据两位了解情况的消息人士透露，白宫私下告知盟友，美国与伊朗达成外交协议需要时间。他们还补充说，美国估计战争本身的激烈行动还将持续另外两到四周。
两位接近伊朗官员的消息人士表示，德黑兰方面认为外交谈判需要时间。这些消息人士称，伊朗对美国可能达成协议的兴趣持怀疑态度，并且德黑兰认为高能源价格为伊朗提供了有利条件。
两位消息人士称，伊朗也对美国和以色列关于结束战斗的共同时间表持怀疑态度。以色列国防军此前曾表示，预计战斗将持续到逾越节（即四月初的第一周）。
