ChainCatcher 消息，据 CoinDesk 報導，Jack Dorsey 旗下 Square 已開始為數百萬美國商家自動啟用比特幣支付功能，交易在結帳時即時轉換為美元，商戶無需額外設置即可接收比特幣，且不承擔價格波動和托管風險。
該功能包含近乎即時的結算，並在 2026 年前免收處理費。Square 表示，這是將比特幣融入日常商務的重要一步，商戶默認接收美元，無需改變會計處理或持有加密資產。據悉，Square 的用戶中 78% 來自美國，22% 來自國際市場。此前 PayPal 已向其全球 70 個市場的數萬用戶推出美元穩定幣 PYUSD，推動數位支付應用。
